The
Casio Exilim EX-S2 is labelled as a "Wearable Card Camera";
meaning, we assume, that it is so small that it can be carried in a pocket.
Indeed, the Casio Exilim EX-S2 is small, and very, very flat. So flat
in fact that at its thickest point, where the lens is, it measures a bare
1.5 cm (0.58 inch). Moreover, the EX-S2 is quite literally the size of
a credit card if the slight curves on 2 sides — where the lens is
— are ignored.
The Power switch, and the Shutter Release are both located
on the top right side of the camera, with the power switch closest to
the right edge.
Three
more controls are arranged on the Exilim EX-S2 back:
In
the upper right corner is the Play/Rec slider switch which controls
Recording and Playback functions; and to its left is the Menu button
that calls up the Exilim's menu.
To the right of the 1.6 inch LCD screen, the Exilim is equipped with a
Multi-function controller, that can be pushed in 4-directions, or pressed
in at the centre to confirm a menu selection.
Probably
because of its size, the Exilim EX-S2 is a very simple camera, really
intended for fast snapshots.
