  • 10.7X zoom.
  • Powerful flash.
  • High resolution EVF and monitor.
  • xD and CompactFlash I/II slots.
  • Excellent ergonomic design.
  • No real improvement from the S9000/S9500.
  • Wide angle images a bit soft.
  • Compression still too strong at the highest JPEG image quality, and not enough compression choices.
  • No image stabilizer.
  • Odd RAW format that is not on par with other RAW formats.
