Software
A
disc containing Olympus Camedia Master 4.0 is provided with the
C-730UZ.
Camedia Master is a program that can handle retrieving the photos from
the camera, or organizing them. Camedia Master can also be used to print
photos one at a time, create index prints, create calendars, postcards
or album pages.
Another section of the program can show thumbnails, shooting data, and
rotate photos if desired.
The
Edit function opens up another window to work on the image, and loads
it. Photos can then be adjusted in a number of ways, ranging from cropping
and resizing to adding superimposed templates and text.
Moreover, filters can be used to adjust brightness and contrast, gamma,
colour balance, hue and saturation, sharpness or blur. Other tools include
automatic red-eye reduction, and changing the image's tone to sepia or
black and white.
In addition, the disc includes Apple's QuickTime to view the movie clips
recorded with the C-730UZ. The disc also provides a very extensive
camera manual in PDF format (Adobe Acrobat) to supplement the basic
printed guide. Versions of the Manual are offered in English, French,
German and Spanish.
